Even though it was raining, we went ahead and tried.
Here is the first fish I caught! I ended up catching three.
KaraBeth's first fish! She didn't know what to think at first.
Here the beaver is leaving and going into his hole.
Here is the mound that the beavers live in. There is an underwater entrance that we saw another beaver swim into (because we saw his air bubbles go to it).

There are probably some big fish in this lake!
They have people in costume showing and explaining how the Shakers lived here in the 1800's. This man was a cobbler and was making shoes using wooden pegs instead of nails. He gave each of us a chance to drive a peg into the sole of a shoe. It's harder than it looks!
